Crag Green and adidas Are Back With the New CG SCUBA PHORMAR
British designer and are back with another sneaker, as Green has worked with to create the all-new CG SCUBA PHORMAR. A lifestyle sneaker available in three colourways (orange, green and blue), the CG SCUBA PHORMAR boasts an interesting embellishment – namely Green's first original sole, inspired by his use of quilting in his past projects.
In classic Green/adidas fashion, the CG SCUBA PHORMAR also features the cord system that's present on some of the designer's other work with the Three Stripes. One cord runs from the tip of the toe to the eyestays while the other secures the toe and heel. They're both functional and fashionable, as they hold the collapsable upper in place!
'I am always interested in the evolution of design ideas, creating an aesthetic that is founded in form and function', said Green while discussing the new silhouette. 'This season, we worked closely with adidas to create our first sole, reflecting both the quilting that is a signature of our brand, as well as the iconic adidas 3-Stripes. We then evolved the cording system introduced last season to create this brand-new style'.
Look for the Craig Green x adidas CG SCUBA PHORMAR to release via the adidas webstore come December 9. Each pair will be priced at $220.
