‘Core Black’ adidas UltraBOOSTs are Back
Back in the mid-2010s, the was practically standard issue for the Team Cozy movement. Perhaps with the increased WFH contingent (and sweatpant donning) of late, it’s serendipitous that the UB is here again in easy-to-wear schemes like ‘Core Black’.
Echoing the simple appearance of the 2015 original, this revived version swaps out the previously plastic lace cage and heel counter for soft textile, all in the name of comfort. The Primeknit uppers have been tweaked to be reminiscent of waffle knit, but the successful BOOST midsole and Continental rubber outsole remains.
