Converse Tap Stussy for Chuck 70 ‘Surfman’
have been tearing through the zeitgeist in 2022 with a swathe of epic linkups, reworking models such as the and . The streetwear behemoths always put their own spin on their joint efforts through minimal branding touches. Most recently, they were tapped by for a two-stack colab, and now the duo are back with a ‘Surfman’.
The Surfman logo is an icon in the Stussy arsenal and has been seen adorning graphic tees, hats and shorts that align with the brand’s SoCal surf vibe. For their latest Chuck 70, the duo have opted for their signature use of hemp canvas – this time dyed a ‘Plumeria’ pink tone. They’ve slapped their Surfman logo on the lateral while the usual medial Converse logo has been inverted and is only visible from the inside of the shoe. Stussy branding reaches the inside of the tongue with a specialised tag on the outside.
