Converse Unveil New 'Mountain Club' Capsule
Way back before the Chuck Taylor All Star ever hit the hardwood, Marquis Converse founded the Converse Rubber Shoe company in 1908 and introduced rubber galoshes as the company's first product the following year. Converse would go on to supply the American troops during World War II and is looking back on those years now with a new 'Mountain Club' capsule collection. Taking cues from the Extreme Cold Weather Boot of the 1950s, the capsule utilises waterproof Gore-Tex technology throughout and features military-inspired mods to the likes of the Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star, and Fastbreak.
The rugged silhouettes hit Converse retailers November 8.
