Converse Japan Revive Vintage Chuck Taylor All Star Detailing

Converse’s Japanese arm really pays attention to the little details. As part of their region-exclusive releases, they’re bringing back Chuck Taylor All Star with vintage details.

On the surface, it may just look like a regular white Chuck, but the rubber sole has been gently yellowed for a faux aged effect. This is matched by dense-weave laces, which was specified for older editions of the centenarian sneaker. The insole and heel badge read ‘U.S. ORIGINATOR’, nodding to a 1990s version – think of it an alternative to the Chuck 70. There’s a matching box too.

Because this is a Japan release, the big Hinomaru (aka Flag of Japan) on the lateral side denotes the special drop. Coming soon to Converse Japan. You may need a plug to obtain these internationally.
