The Converse Weapon is a basketball boot with a helluva lot of history and prestige. We've seen it revived recently in zany designs with more of an eye on snapping necks on the street than dunking on schmucks on the court, and now the Converse CONS team is re-imagining it again, this time for all the shredders out there. The Converse CONS Weapon Skate channels the flavour of the knee cap scraping sneak and cuts it right down to size as a low-top, pimping it out with CONS Traction Rubber for board grip, gusseted tongue for added shoe strength, and a drop-in Lunarlon sockliner to make the ride extra cushy. This hybrid idea reminds us of the mingling of Nike SB and the Air Jordan 1. The Converse CONS Weapon Skate is available in Navy Larkspur, Lucky Stone Black and Black/Red at Converse retail stores and Converse.com/CONS.
