Converse Cons Weapon (Jersey Collection)
The immortal ball boot beast, the Converse Weapon is coming back to sneaker shelves and the new school CONS team has got experimental with the re-design. Nike, Inc. has unveiled five new renditions of the Weapon that will be arriving in stores soon. First up there's one hella-colourful First String 'Patchwork' design, which takes inspiration from B-Ball jerseys from the Weapon's glory days in the 1980s – see if you can name the teams the colours likely belong too. Next there's a the 'Ray Pack', which uses jerseys as the muse, but in a different manner. The premium heathered cotton uppers come in dark and light greys and are forged through a slow-craft jersey production technique from Japan. Finally, there's the 'Reflective Mesh Pack', two shoes that look to more contemporary mesh jerseys for motivation, with a flash of 3M added for extra pop. Peruse all five in order in the gallery above and look to grab the Patchwork at First String retailers on Friday, June 13, the Ray Pack on July 11, and the Reflective Mesh Pack on August 9.
