The Converse One Star, that go-to beater sneaker for grunge lord Kurt Cobain, has been officially welcomed into the Converse CONS skate family. The 1974-born sneak arrives with some updates that make it ready for a serious shred session, like a molded Lunarlon sock liner for lightweight impact and cushioning, CONS traction rubber for additional durability and grip, plus a gusseted tongue for comfort and fit. The initial double pack drop will feature black and yellow dressings of the classic Converse shape, re-anointed as the Converse CONS One Star Pro, and will arrive at UPS, Fast Times, Beyond Skate and Precinct Skate Shop in limited quantities on June 12.
