Confirmed Release Date: The READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid

READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid

Yuta Hosokawa and his renowned streetwear brand READYMADE are in their own lane when it comes to design. Coveted collaborators, they’ve linked with the likes of Takashi Murakami, Futura, Rich the Kid, Seventh Heaven and, of course, Nike on an avant-garde Blazer Mid.

We first heard of the colab through a bunch of leaks midway through last year, and we can definitely say that the shoe was a shock to the system for many sneakerheads who aren’t used to the avant-garde, wayward look that READYMADE is known for. Another interesting factor in this colab is that the Japanese brand have opted to be part of Team Swoosh’s ‘Move to Zero’ initiative and use sustainable materials throughout.

This would be our first official look at the collaborative release and, from what we can tell, the leaked pics were pretty accurate. Two colours have surfaced, one composed in black and another in white, both featuring camouflage prints around the collar and a distorted, elongated Swoosh. Down below, we’ve got a bubbly sole unit that adds to the unfinished ‘deconstructed’ aesthetic.

Both pairs of the READYMADE x Nike Blazer Mid have been locked in to release on February 27. We’re assuming that they’ll be carried by SNKRS and will drop in limited quantities. Of course, stay locked to SF we’ll keep you updated on this release closer to the date.
