Confirmed: ALYX x Nike Air Force 1 High

After mockups, teasers and leaks, the  x   has been confirmed straight from the horse’s mouth. Company founder and designer posted a four pair pack of AF-1 Highs on his Instagram earlier today, and it confirms the rumours.

Built from quality-grained leather, the minimalistic tonal colourways are jazzed up with the distinct utilitarian hardware on the straps. The ‘Cobra’ buckle replaces the usual Velcro closure – a classic ALYX move. Otherwise, branding is quite subtle, only found on the lateral heel counter.

Expect pairs to do the rounds in Paris during Fashion Week, with word on the street that some will be available at an exclusive pop-up event. However, don’t rule out the possibility of a wider release.
