This is the story behind the retailer’s new ‘Draft Class’ Question Mid, which arrives in a vivid, asymmetrical makeup. The shoe’s bright colour blocking makes vague references to the NBA teams who secured the top picks from that year’s draft, a group of players including Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash that was immortalised on the cover of SLAM’s February 1997 issue. As legend has it, Iverson was not available to participate in the shoot, making that year’s #1 pick absent from the cover.

The Concepts x Reebok Question Mid ‘Draft Class’ will arrive on October 21 exclusively at cncpts.com and CNCPTS Dubai, with a Reebok release scheduled for October 22.
