Where to Buy Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 'Heavy'

Update March 15, 2022: Following the release exclusively at Concepts on March 12, a bunch of retailers are now set to stock the collaborative Nike Air Max 1 'Heavy'! March 19 is the date to watch for the wider drop and if you want to find out where to cop, head down below.

Concepts and Nike are celebrating the free-wheeling spirit of the 1960s with a three-pack of Air Max 1 colourways, and after the Air Max 1 'Mellow' was released last weekend, official images of a second pair, named the 'Heavy' have surfaced. Just like the 'Mellow', it's loaded with prints, patterns and special graphics – nodding to the influential music, fashion and counter-culture of the era, as well as the genesis of Nike as a brand.

There are enough wild details to satiate even the most flamboyant sneakerhead atop the Air Max 1, but a few highlights include the washed denim upper, a tiger camo mudguard, a small hit of cow-printed pony hair below the tongue and a clever pattern on the heel that works in repeating Concepts logos. The detail even extends to the shoe's hidden pieces, thanks to a printed insole If you're looking for some colourway clarification on the special box, don't hold your breath: it reads 'Multi Colour/Multi Colour/Sail.'

Concepts will release the Nike Air Max 1 'Heavy' exclusively via their stores on March 12, but a wider release on Nike SNKRS is expected to follow later. Just like the last pair, the MSRP will be set at $170.
