Concepts continue to serve as a stalwart of the sneaker community, the Boston-based retailer this week linking up with New Balance to introduce the 1906R ‘Protection Pack’.

Running a campaign titled ‘Women and their Collections’, Concepts are highlighting women at the top of their respective fields and showcasing the items they collect through their work and pursuits.

As part of the series, Concepts interviewed Angie Chavez, an athlete based in New York. ‘She is a cyclist, a runner, and a climber’, the editorial reads. ‘Her style is in full focus amongst her climbing mat, medicine ball and foam roller, bike pump and helmets, and more’.

Concepts also linked up with Christine Espinal, a spatial designer based in New York.

‘Her designs accompany her in this collection alongside interventions from cutting and measuring tools, sketches, reference books, and an iconic Gaetano Pesce Broadway Chair she leans into for inspiration’, the post reads.

Concepts are debuting the 1906R models ahead of the New Balance’s global launch.

The collection will launch at Concepts on January 6 at 11 am EST. All four styles will be available in unisex sizing 4–16 and retail at $170.
