Release Details: Comme des Garçons x Vans Old Skool

Experts at reframing niche silhouettes for a mainstream audience, Japanese masters of style Comme des Garçons are also locked-in when it comes to the classics. Previously linking up with Vans for a logo-clad version of the Old Skool last year, CDG are now reskinning the 1977 skate shoe yet again, the latest collaboration blasting the soles with the indelible ‘CDG’ branding.

Keeping things monochromatic across the uppers, the Old Skool is given material and aesthetic depth with subtle off-white suede. Crisp white is utilised for the laces and iconic Jazz Stripe, while down below, black foxing tint brings a harmonious touch to the ‘CDG’ branding.

Look for the CDG x Vans Old Skool to land on January 7.
