Comme Des Garçons Rework the Nike Air Foamposite
Belonging to their Autumn/Winter ’21 collection (unveiled recently in Aoyama, Tokyo), the ‘Triple White’ and ‘Triple Black’ variations of the cult-favourite silhouette stay true to the original while reworking the hardshell exterior in a mesmerising vortex pattern.
Guaranteed to tweak necks, the Rei Kawakubo-led fashion label have foregone the traditional striped molded foam uppers and implemented ‘CdG HOMME PLUS’ branding on the heel.
Originally debuting on the hardwood in March 1997, the Air Foamposite quickly garnered a cult following thanks to superstars like 'Penny' Hardaway lacing the silhouette.
No release details have yet surfaced, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
