Comme des Garçons Takes on the Nike Air Flymesh Rejuven8

Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Flymesh Rejuven8

unveiled their upcoming collection in the Paris Fashion Week show entitled ‘To Hell With War.’ Included in it is a model from 2008: the Nike Air Rejuven8. Originally introduced as a post-workout recovery shoe, it appears CdG is revamping it. The Paris-based Japanese label is one of Nike’s perennial collaborators and has a history of working on models that are more niche. Think the or the CdG x Nike AGC Mountain Fly 2 Low. Now the fashion house has turned its focus to the Air Rejuven8.

When it was released in 2008, it was billed as a flagship Nike product and the latest in recovery footwear. It featured a simple lattice upper construction with a bootie liner that could be removed for different colourway options. The upcoming Comme des Garcons version reworks the sneaker by removing the bootie and updating the upper to a ‘Flymesh’ material. This ‘Flymesh’ upper looks like a weave of ‘’. In true CdG fashion, the sneakers appear in black with white accents and white with black accents. For this project, the original design of the Air Rejuven8 sole was not changed. Expect these sneakers to be light and breathable.

The Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Flymesh Rejuven8 does not have a firm release date but is expected mid to late 2025. Keep it right here for any additional information as it becomes available. Are you feeling this pair?
