If you look through the ASICS archive, there are plenty of misfits and rarely seen models that would be certified bangers if returned – one of those being the GEL-SD Lyte. There’s barely any information to be found about the model, but we do know that they first arrived into the sneakerspace circa 2010. CDG’s iteration makes some slight alterations to the original build, namely the mudguard and outsole, which extend to cover the front of the toe box. Three colourways have emerged as part of the colab, all boasting classic white mesh base layers with a single bold hue accenting the upper and outsole.

The Comme des Garçons Shirt x ASICS GEL-SD Lyte is expected to arrive at select CDG stockists like Dover Street Market for Spring/Summer 2026.
