COLORSxSTUDIOS Craft a Duo of Understated New Balance 327s

Berlin-based music 'discovery platform' COLORSxSTUDIOS has linked up with New Balance for two elegant takes on the 327 lifestyle silhouette. Most well-known for their COLORS SHOWS series on YouTube – live performances from artists like Skepta, Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, Masego and Doja Cat, who perform their hits in front of a single-coloured background – COLORSxSTUDIOS have used their first footwear colab as an opportunity to salute self-expression, one of their guiding principles.

Quite unlike COLORS SHOWS backgrounds, both COLORSxSTUDIOS shoes offer a relatively muted look. Each is made of leather and suede, with one offering an airy blend of white and grey while the other presents a black upper accented by white contrast stitching and tongues. Further details include speckled midsoles, debossed heel hits and signature nubbed outsoles, but both shoes' most unique embellishments are seen on their laces, namely small beads, lace toggles and custom suede hangtags. Co-branded tongues round off each look.

First revealed at COLORSxSTUDIOS' 'COLORS À PARIS', a live performance and workshop space in the heart of France's capital city, the COLORSxSTUDIOS x New Balance 327 is available via colorsxstudios.com now, and will hit the New Balance webstore globally on December 4. Its MSRP is set at $120.
