The CLOT x adidas Superstar Is Dropping in Black

CLOT’s defection to adidas signalled a huge shift for Edison Chen’s much-loved label in 2023. A longtime Nike collaborator, Chen’s return to Three Stripes surprised many in the industry, as the two storied brands have not collaborated since previously working together nearly a decade ago.

It looks like the classic Superstar is the first port of call for the Hong Kong imprint, with a significant overhaul placing the silhouette firmly within a modern framework. Headlining the collaboration is no doubt the eye-catching cream-jagged outsole, with the bold look reminiscent of vintage track-and-field runners. Up above, CLOT have been a little more conservative with the Superstar (compared to their recent three-way Superstar collaboration with legendary Japanese label, NEIGHBORHOOD), retaining the indelible shell toe aesthetics on the toe box and opting for a classic leather construction. The brown leather mudguards are another salient design characteristic, with the exposed stitching imbuing the model with more formal footwear DNA.

It’s the third Superstar off the rank for CLOT's latest collaborative endeavours, and it's rumoured to arrive in February.
