CLOT Blow a Purple Haze into the Superstar Breathe

clot adidas superstar breathe purple pack

are back in the shelltoe business with another round of the Breathe, this time dipped in a pastel purple haze. Edison Chen’s crew have been running the Breathe concept for a minute now, stripping the OG down to an airy mesh shelltoe hybrid that’s equal parts heritage and heatwave-friendly.

The new shade is softer than a Prince B-side, but it still pops. The open-mesh upper keeps things breezy for the last stretch of summer, while suede stripes and heel tabs add just enough texture to stop you from floating away. CLOT’s bilingual branding splits across the shoes – Superstar script on one, Chinese characters on the other – because a little asymmetry never hurt anybody.

They’ve sweetened the deal with extras, too: each pair comes boxed with a drawstring backpack and two spare lace sets – one in a bubblegum pink, the other rocking a yellow geometric print. Swap ‘em out depending on whether you’re feeling zen monk or disco monk.

Underfoot, you still get that rippled sole with a touch of vintage fade, tying it back to the Superstar’s decades-deep DNA.
