Closer Look: The Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’
continues to flex his credentials as earth’s preeminent collaborator, the 28-year-old Houston rapper linking up with everyone from McDonald’s to Fortnite.
Already tapping silhouettes like the , and , Travis Scott has now turned his attention to a new colourway of the , the ‘British Khaki’ edition originally glimpsed via his Instagram when Scott gifted a pair to his three-year-old daughter, Stormi.
Composed in ‘British Khaki’, ‘Sail’, and ‘Bright Crimson’, the Travis Scott Air Jordan 6 ‘British Khaki’ is built with suede uppers and crimson branding. The translucent tongues, heel tabs, and outsoles (with co-branding) give the design more aesthetic depth, while the stash pocket (that appears on the side of the shoe’s collars) is perhaps the most salient aspect of the AJ6.
Of course, originally appearing in the ‘Olive’ colourway, Travis Scott’s maiden AJ6 collaboration landed in October, 2019 (after Scott teased the silhouette during Super Bowl LIII).
