Closer Look: The Air Jordan 6 ‘Carmine’
The return of the ‘Carmine’ has been locked in for a while now, but we now have a closer look at the neat retro. Confirmation came through that this release would have the coveted ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel, and with just over two weeks until this legendary AJ6 hits stores, it’s time to start drinking in the details.
Earmarked as one of our , the ‘Carmine’ is among the AJ6’s OG colourways, and launched into legend status by being on feet as he forged a path towards his first NBA ring. Unlike the Black/Infrared and White/Infrared home and away editions, the ‘Carmine’ uses much bolder colour-blocking, with two-toned red and white perforated uppers that alternate between nubuck and leather. Down below, a bold black midsole strip separates the upper from a visible heel Air unit and partial ice outsole.
Pairs of the Air Jordan 6 ‘Carmine’ are scheduled to hit Nike SNKRS on February 13, making them the perfect last-minute Valentine’s Day gift for that someone special – or yourself!
