Closer Look: The Off-White x Nike Blazer Low

There’s no stopping Virgil Abloh’s Off-White imprint in 2021. As well as remixing the criminally underrated Air Jordan 2 in recent months, Off-White have been busy collaborating on the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% and teasing the ridunkulous Nike Dunk Low collection, ‘The 50’.

Now, Virgil’s turning his attention to the Nike Blazer, the idiosyncratic design completely remastering the vintage 1980s midsole. While the last Off-White x Nike Blazer was seen way back in 2017 in ‘The Ten’ collection, the latest Nike Blazer digresses significantly from its OG blueprints.

Ostensibly inspired by the cult classic Air Humara (hitting shelves in 1997), the sole unit has received a complete overhaul, with speckled orange soles reminiscent of the All Conditions Gear division. Up top, things again diverge considerably, the signature ‘Volt’ tubing (reminiscent of Off-White’s recent Dunks) complementing the classic lacing system, while zip-ties and Off-White branding again appears via the “SHOELACES” iconography.

While there’s no release details or pricing information as yet, make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.

In the meantime, why not check out Off-White’s greatest ever Nike sneakers.
