Closer Look: AMBUSH x Nike Dunk Highs Release: TBC
Since first being teased in early in the year, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High has caused quite the stir. We first caught of glimpse of it at the 2020 Nike Forum, before AMBUSH founder Yoon Ahn gave us better look on IG. Most recently, she's revealed the collaboration is likely to arrive in December, and now we've got our best look yet, courtesy of woganwodeyang.
Taking to the high-top version of the Dunk, the AMBUSH have opted for a white leather base, with sharp black overlays. Accentuating the Swoosh, Yoon puts an enlarged spin on it, both width and lengthwise, to extend to the tail-end so that it sticks out of the rear. They’ve also opted for a protruding heel counter to add a touch more depth. Perforated leather remains on the toe box as usual, while black laces and co-branded tongue labels close it out. Wild!
To date, there's been little news on the pink joint that surfaced a few months back, but we’re hoping that one also sees a release soon, too.
That said, this black and white iteration will be available in men’s universal metric sizing. Expect them to reach select Nike and AMBUSH retailers some time in December. We’ll be sure to keep you updated with release news and a Where to Buy guide.
