Closer Look: The Air Jordan 4 WMNS ‘Starfish’
It doesn’t get much more coveted than the ‘Bred’. Constantly retroed, applauded, laced and embraced, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ is now releasing with subtle tweaks to its materials, the warm orange accents providing a lift to the visual hierarchy.
In some ways reminiscent of the recent collaboration, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Starfish’ colourway is dressed in ‘Sail’, black, ‘Starfish’, and ‘Light Smoke Grey’. Manufactured with ballistic mesh, the design implements the iconic grid mesh pattern and rubber outsole featuring herringbone.
Looking badder than ever, the AJ4 originally took flight in 1989, famously lacing the Air Jordan 4 before hitting ‘The Shot’ against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1988-89 NBA post-season. With only six seconds left on the shot clock, Jordan nailed a jumper that punctuated his immortal journey on the NBA hardwood.
