Closer Look: The Air Jordan 1 ‘University Blue’
The Air Jordan 1 continues its imperious reign in 2020, the silhouette still captivating sneakerheads across the globe.
Recently bolstered by some incredibly high-profile collaborations with the likes of and French luxury house (we called the Dior link-up one of the sneaker collaborations of all time), the Jordan Brand have also provided strong in-house, GR releases for the silhouette – the Zoom tech line has been particularly impressive. And, of course, we also had the culturally seismic The Last Dance documentary.
Composed in white, ‘University Blue’, and black, we first caught wind of the latest ‘University Blue’ colourway in May, the speculative mockup pretty much nailing the final design. Manufactured with ‘University Blue’ suede overlays and white leather uppers, the Air Jordan 1 is framed by blue rubber outsoles.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘University Blue’ to release on February 20 next year.
