Closer Look: The Air Jordan 1 ‘Pollen’ Has Matching PackagingRelease: 14 August 2021
Set to release as part of Jordan Brand’s anticipated Fall 2021 lineup, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Pollen’ has been subject to a few delays from Beaverton. However, as usual, leakers already have their pairs sorted. In the latest detailed look at what promises to be a sought-after GR, we’ve got a look at the matching packaging. A nice touch if you ask us!
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know this colourway has already created a bit of a buzz, set to arrive with a ‘Pollen’, black and white colour scheme. The colour-blocking is familiar, with a black tumbled leather base under ‘Pollen’ yellow leather overlays and Swooshes. Additionally, black returns on the Wings logo, while ‘Nike Air’ tongue tags and a white midsole/yellow rubber outsole combination round things out in predictable fashion – and it’s not a bad thing. As mentioned, each pair will come housed in special packaging in a matching hue.
Initial reports slated these for an August 21 release, before a change to August 7. However, following the delays, it looks like the Air Jordan 1 OG ‘Pollen’ will now reportedly drop on August 14. The retail price tag is set at $170.
Nevertheless, they’ll be releasing via SNKRS, so check out Nike’s tips on how to cop via Exclusive Access.
