‘Citron Animal’ Inflates the atmos x Reebok Instapump Fury
If you got your paws on a copy of , you would have been among the first in the world to catch a sneak peek of these ferocious ! Many months later, Japan’s have finally revealed their latest instalment in animal textured collaborations, and here are our shots of the feisty footwear.
Dubbed the ‘Citron Animal’, atmos have actually done relatively little to the distinct Reebok retro runner, at least compared to some of their past work. This is because the Instapump Fury is already an incredibly busy sneaker with its neon colours and retrofuturistic tech, which atmos have highlighted here by using translucent materials on the Pump bladder while maintaining the OG ‘Citron’ yellow and red scheme.
The ‘Animal’ component comes through on the tongue and toe box, using white jaguar-styled spots printed on pony fur. The included insoles match the upper pattern for a bit of covert collaboration. Elsewhere, other custom touches include the red Reebok mid-foot embroidery, and massive Vector branding on the heel counters.
Like many atmos colabs, these are initially going to be exclusive to their doors. Online raffle entries open on October 7, ahead of an October 10 release. Following that, Reebok is due to drop a limited allocation on October 17.
