Caroline Hue Reveals Five Romantic adidas Sambas
A precocious young talent in the fashion industry, Caroline Hu and her eponymous New York City label have already received numerous accolades from the sartorial top brass. The Chinese-born designer has received BoF’s inaugural China Prize and was selected as a finalist for the highly coveted LVMH Young Designer Award.
With the help of Edison Chen of cult-favourite label, Caroline Hu is now set to debut her inaugural collection with adidas – the highly anticipated ‘Reverie’ collaboration includes five remixes of the crowd-pleaser
Undoubtedly one of the most unique renditions of the Samba we’ve seen in recent years, the silhouette is imbued with ethereal romance. The material features a interplay of delicate lace and textured silk – a standout in a collaborative industry so often playing conservatively.
‘At the heart of this collection lies an exploration of human relationships and the emotive landscapes they inhabit,’ the JUICE website states. ‘Through this collaboration, adidas Originals and Caroline Hu continue to push the boundaries of contemporary fashion, redefining the brand's classic codes in pursuit of romance and beauty – an underlying theme that inspires Caroline Hu's designs.
The limited Caroline Hu x adidas Originals Reverie series will be available at designated retail stores and online on May 24.
