Bronze56K Hack the New Balance Numeric 480

Bronze56K are bringing their unmistakable bootleg internet energy to tapping into the for a collaboration that’s equal parts skate tech and late-90s weirdness. Slated for release on May 19, the Bronze56K x New Balance Numeric 480 is a clean, copper-toned remix of the classic court silhouette – tuned for griptape and grit.
Built atop a black leather upper, the shoe features metallic bronze hits on the forefoot and heel overlays, matched by shimmering copper NB branding and tongue accents.
Underfoot, the 480 stays true to its performance roots. Reinforced with FuelCell cushioning and a grippy, double-layered cupsole, the sneaker is ready for high-impact sessions while offering everyday comfort. Originally introduced in 1983 as a basketball model, the 480 has been retooled by New Balance Numeric with modern skateboarding tech, merging retro styling with contemporary performance.
Bronze56K, founded in 2012 by NYC skaters Peter Sidlauskas and Pat Murray, carved a niche through lo-fi skate videos, ironic graphics, and a deep obsession with 90s dial-up internet culture. The brand’s glitchy visuals and underground attitude have earned it cult status – and collabs with Palace, DC Shoes, and Reebok. This latest link-up brings that same chaotic charm to New Balance’s skate lineup.
The Bronze56K x New Balance Numeric 480 drops May 19 via New Balance and select skate retailers for $120.
