Bodega and New Balance’s 574 Collaboration is ‘Internationally Known, Locally Respected’

and have a lot in common. Both started from humble beginnings before becoming cultural forces globally. They also both happen to be based out of Boston, Massachusetts, which informs the context behind the tagline of their new Legacy collaboration: ‘Internationally Known, Locally Respected.’ And to really play into the universal nature of this union, they’ll be releasing in Paris during Paris Fashion Week.
Little has been revealed about this particular duo of 574s, but Bodega give away the pertinent details. From what can be gleaned, this colab ramps up the premium factor on the material side, featuring fuzzy suede and perforated toe box and ankle collar inserts. Choice colouring in tonal mustard yellow and vibrant blue also accentuates the textural variety of the upper. There is also an element of complementary harmony between the two pairs, as the lining colour on each is taken from the other. Of course, being astute product enthusiasts, Bodega also spec the N logos and heel tabs with reflective materials like the millions of 574s out there.
The Bodega x New Balance 574 will first release in-store at the Bodega In Paris x New Balance Clubhouse on June 23 at 6PM Paris time, ahead of a wider drop via Bodega's web store on July 15.
