Plié With Rosé: BLACKPINK Star Unveils PUMA Ballet Collection
Some people can pat their head and rub their tummy at the same time, and it's a neat schoolyard trick, but not the kind of thing that warrants the crown of 'multi-talent'. Don't look now, but singer-songwriter-musician and several-time Guinness World Record holder Rosé is blowing you all out of the water. Following an impressive run of prestige fashion ambassadorships (including Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co.), the BLACKPINK idol has revealed her new two-pack colab with : the supremely elegant Rosé Premium and Speedcat Ballet.
Of course, to name Rosé the 'breakout star' of BLACKPINK wouldn't quite be true, considering the extensive extra-curriculars the three other group members have notched up. Jisoo is the most-followed Korean actress on Instagram and a global ambassador for ; Lisa is the most-followed K-pop artist on Instagram, has nine Guinness World Records, and made her acting debut this year in HBO series The White Lotus; and Jennie is the most-followed Korean person on Instagram, is global ambassador for , and appeared in 2023 HBO series The Idol alongside Lily-Rose Depp and The Weeknd.
Rosé's OG Speedcat comes in full black leather, while white hits the Formstrip, the leaping Big Cat on the lateral toe, and the stitching at the tongue's edge. Small leather loops at the heel counter and each side's midfoot crest allow for the artful fastening of an extra lace, tied in a bow at the vamp. On the tongue, a co-branded badge reps Rosé's nickname (and the title of her two-times-Platinum debut album of 2024), ROSIE.
On the cream Speedcat Ballet, an ultra-low profile allows the black, lateral-only Formstrip to float as a cut-out. The embroidered Big Cat hurdles the lateral toe in light pink, and long cream laces attached at the heeltab can criss-cross up the ankle.
The Rosé x PUMA Speedcat collection is all set to pirouette on August 28. The black iteration has an RRP of $110, but no word yet on how many clams the Ballets will set you back. Keep it locked for more info as it comes in!
