BespokeIND Release New Batch of Custom Kicks

BespokeIND Nike SB Dunk Low Legacy
BespokeIND Nike SB Dunk Low Equality
BespokeIND Nike Dunk Low Troops
BespokeIND Air Jordan 1 Geobasket

Melbourne sneaker customisers BespokeIND are dropping a new selection of high-end remakes of popular designs. Rather than exotic materials or out-there technical executions, these four new releases nod towards some high fashion inspirations while simultaneously expressing a sense of purpose.

Up first is the straightforward Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Legacy’, which is effectively the skate model remade using material from Louis Vuitton luggage. The point of difference here is even the fabric lining is repurposed on the toe box, tongue and mid panels of the upper. A pair was made and gifted to the late Virgil Abloh during its sampling phase.

Next is the SB Dunk Low ‘Equality’, again using LV materials – specifically wool monogram jacquard – but this time in shades of grey, inserted between white and black premium leathers. The pairs are purposely mismatched, representing the common union of two entities that shouldn’t be diametrically opposed purely for the sake of colour.

Another Dunk comes via the ‘Troops’, a tribute to the service people around the world protecting their causes. Without veering too much into military cosplay, this utilitarian remake sees the laces replaced for buckle closures, while the uppers are made from durable materials including olive ripstop and Japanese denim. Deer skin lining comes as standard.

Finally for this drop is the Air Jordan 1 modelled after the Rick Owens Geobasket, the latter heavily inspired by various Nike basketball shoes of the 1980s. Riffing off the Geobasket’s distinct lacing hardware to form an inverted pentagram, these customs will take a bit more time to put on for the sake of fashion. The aged white colourway meets a black ankle collar, per Rick specs.

The new BespokeIND releases are available for pre-order from April 3 at 12PM AEDT via their web store.
