The 90s skate shoe revival continues as BEAMS’ subset SSZ combines with for a new colourway of the legendary pro model.
Opting for a clean look with white/navy/yellow, you’ll find a yellow notebook tag under the top tongue and a chunked-out second padded tongue underneath — a throwback to the days of cutting out tongues from old shoes to slip into new shoes for added padding. A quality leather and suede construction blesses the upper, while an air-cushioned midsole improves comfort and impact absorption.
After a limited drop at select skate shops, the SSZ x DC Shoes Kalis OG remains available at BEAMS in Harajuku, Japan. However, you can also expect it to hit for $125 in the very near future.
