Balenciaga Bulk Up for Winter With a Chunky New Sneaker

Love 'em or hate 'em, chunky trainers are here to stay. Well, at least until winter!  hosted their Fall/Winter 2018 runway show on Sunday and revealed an all-new stocky sneaker.

The as-yet-unnamed design builds upon the squashed-sole aesthetic of the with a hearty dose of influence drawn from heritage trail-runners. The new sneaker features a heavily layered mesh upper as well as a lugged outsole for improved grip in slippery conditions.

Little is known about Balenciaga's newest silhouette, but we can logically expect it to hit retailers later in the year, when fall and winter start rolling in.
