BAIT X adidas Consortium EQT Support 'R&D' Pack
BAIT are the latest retailer to take part in the initiative, and they're bringing their unique breed of West Coast innovation to the collaboration. The American footwear store is set to launch the M.O.D. Cage EQT Support 'Research and Development' pack with the release of two models: the EQT Support 93-16 BOOST and the EQT Support Future BOOST. Both shoes in the pack feature a new M.O.D. (Mesh Optimised Dynamic) cage, which has been designed with stability and foot support in mind.
The all-white EQT Support 93-16 takes the classic EQT Support silhouette and injects it with BOOST technology. BAIT have chosen the white colourway in the hopes that the blank slate will spark the wearer's impulse to 'research' and innovate. Take this as an invitation to do whatever you want with the shoes: draw all over them, swap out their white laces for coloured ones, or take a leaf out of BAIT's book and store them under green reflective lights.
The second shoe in the pack – the EQT Support Future – comes in a black colourway with red accents. The sneaker represents the 'development' component of this release, as it mixes the upper design of the UltraBOOST with the EQT Support ADV. The result is a shoe with 35% more Primeknit in its upper than previous iterations of the EQT Support Future.
