Update February 1, 2022: More info has been revealed about Bad Bunny and adidas hybrid Forum/Powerphase sneaker. It's officially named the Forum PWR, and its inaugural colourway is dubbed 'Catch and Throw', a moniker that Bad Bunny feels nods to childhood games and his 'interpretation of the Forum, informed by his senses and an exploration of the world around him'. See the original article below for more info of the Forum PWR's colourway and details. Expect it to launch on February 9 to celebrate the launch of adidas CONFIRMED Puerto Rico. MSRP is set at $160.

Fresh off the announcement of a summertime stadium tour, reggaeton superstar Bad Bunny is in the news again – this time, for one of his sneaker colabs with adidas Originals. Images of a forthcoming Bad Bunny x adidas silhouette dubbed the Forum Powerphase have surfaced, and they show off a bold colour scheme plus plenty of details inspired by the Puerto Rican crooner.

Combining design elements of the Forum and the Powerphase, Bunny's latest discards the large collar strap that was a signature detail of his past Forum Buckle Low releases, but retains a doubled-up tongue with a signature 'El Ojo' graphic, plus double-stacked embellishments on the heel. A new detail appears on the midfoot as well, with standard 'Powerphase' text swapped out for a 'Benito' hit for a nod to the artist's government name.

From a colourway and material standpoint, the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Powerphase is nothing short of a medley. Earth-toned brown, tan and black suedes and textiles share space with pops of pastel blue, orange and pink, all of which meet above an aged midsole. 2022 is gearing up to be a big year for Bunny on the footwear front – apart from this model, we've seen leaks of Response CL and ZX 8000 colabs, as well as a few unreleased Forum Buckle Low colourways.

At the time of writing, we've yet to receive an official release date for the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Powerphase. However, the presence of official images indicates that it's likely to arrive later this year.
