Available Now: The NEIGHBORHOOD x Danner FULLBORE Boot Release: 26 November 2020
The temperature is dropping in the Northern Hemisphere, and NEIGHBORHOOD have released their first ever collaboration with renowned bootmaker Danner to usher in the colder months for those seeking shelter in that part of the world. Taking to the high-cut FULLBORE, the Japanese streetwear imprint have fashioned a technical yet stylish boot, fit to tackle everything from Tokyo streets to the Oregon wilderness.
The FULLBORE is positioned as Danner’s field-focused silhouette, inspired by classic hiking boots, but designed for versatility. The grey uppers will keep out the elements, made from water-resistant suede, while the breathable mesh underlays and moisture-wicking lining prevent your feet from getting too toasty. Meanwhile, the sole is packed with plenty of outdoor-ready features, including an OrthoLite footbed, a Vibram SPE midsole, and a Fuga Megagrip outsole. Signifying the collaborative project, you’ll find both NEIGHBORHOOD and Danner branding throughout the boot, most notably on the heels, tongues and insoles.
After the success of recent collaborations alongside Vans, adidas and Clarks, it’s exciting to see NEIGHBORHOOD get adventurous with a trail-style sneaker. The last time we saw something like this was back in 2014, when they linked up with workwear stalwarts Carhartt.
After a sell-out release in Japan, the NEIGHBORHOOD x Danner FULLBORE Boot is now available at select retailers like END. Clothing.
