Available Now: 43einhalb Celebrates 10th Anniversary with KangaROOS Runaway 'LUPUS'
German sneaker stalwarts are basking in the glory of their 10th anniversary celebrations, and they’ve invited to join the party. Collaborating on a special Runaway colourway dubbed the ‘LUPUS’, the sneaker is based on the theme of the ‘hunter becoming the hunted’.
The inspiration comes through the wolf-like grey shades, which dress the luxurious nubuck leather upper. A bold black streak on the midfoot breaks up the lighter tones, while a debossed KangaROOS logo on the lateral quarter, a ‘ROOS’ hit under the collar, a wolf’s head on the heel, and leather tongue tags add to the branded details. Soft alcantara fabric adds extra comfort to the collar lining, while the icy grey outsoles round out this fierce ensemble. For customisation, four pairs of laces will also come housed inside the special packaging box.
The 43einhalb x KangaROOS Runaway ‘LUPUS’ is limited to 800 individually-numbered pairs, each constructed in Germany at the Muenchweiler-based Hummel & Hummel shoe factory. You just know it’s going to be the finest quality!
