AURALEE and New Balance Get Tonal on the RC30

Japanese label AURALEE have more than a few collaborations with New Balance under their belt. Ranging from the 550 to 2002R, the collaborations have featured versatile earthy and tonal colourways that suit any fit. Now, the two are back at it in 2023, going tonal on two colourways of the New Balance RC30 set to drop later this month.

The New Balance RC30 got introduced in 2022 thanks to a colab with Donald Glover. General release colourways followed later, and it looks like 2023 may be a big year for the slender 70s-inspired sneaker.

Dropping in two colourways, hunter green and tan, the low-profile sneaker features tonal looks respectively. Hairy suede is utilised on the upper and overlays throughout with New Balance branding featured in their respective tonal colours. A deconstructed tongue is featured with NB stitched on the tongue, with AURALEE branding only seen on the insole. The outsole features New Balance branding debossed throughout, with the hunter-green pair receiving black and the tan pair a buttery gum outsole.
