AURALEE and New Balance are Back on the R_C2
Luxe-minimalists are back with the to inject the R_C2 with their signature aesthetic, crafting two tasty tonal colourways that are sure to get Japanese fashion fans psyched!
This isn’t the first interaction the duo have had, back in 2019 the Tokyo-based brand first worked with NB on the , and followed that up with a luxurious-leather . More recently, news came forth of a that’s in the works. It seems though whatever they work on, the final product always looks minimal, opulent and well-thought-out, and that’s exactly what they’ve done for this latest team effort.
Two colourways have surfaced, one boasting a tonal grey and tan look with subtle shades of pink, while the other goes for darker hues of grey, black and brown. While both are pretty looking, they also boast some technical details making them functional. Both pairs feature GORE-TEX membranes which are ‘Guaranteed to Keep You Dry’, and slip-resistant outsoles to keep you sturdy on your feet.
Are you digging the latest R_C2 from AURALEE and New Balance? Well, they’ll release in Japan through the brand’s webstore, NB website, and their T-House location on March 19. The only other place to cop will be SSENSE, good luck!
