atmos and adidas Present Sixth ZX 8000 G-SNK Colab, the 'Brazil'
and are continuing their long-running G-SNK partnership with a new take on the that's been dubbed the 'Brazil.' With a colour scheme inspired by the classic ZX 8000 'Brazil' from 2001, this sixth entry in the ZX 8000 G-SNK series salutes the Latin American and South American country — and their love of soccer (or football if you'd prefer).
The 'Brazil' faithfully re-creates the colour scheme of its above-mentioned predecessor but adds in a signature G-SNK detail – namely reflective snakeskin print detailing on the mudguard. It's also accompanied by a unique video campaign that shows the familial bonds between Ademir Santos and Maito Santos. The elder Santos was born in Brazil, then moved to Japan for high school and wound up playing professional soccer in the country, while the younger Santos, who's of Brazilian and Japanese descent, currently plays professional soccer in Japan, making the duo perfect to represent the dual backgrounds of the G-SNK 'Brazil.'
A raffle for the atmos x adidas ZX 8000 G-SNK 'Brazil' is live now on the atmos webstore and is running until 8:59 PM JST on May 27. The shoes then release on May 28. Each pair is priced at ¥16,000 JPY, roughly $126 in US dollars, inclusive of tax.
