The 'Atlantic Blue' Air Max 97 Retro Has Dropped
There are releases advertised months in advance that allow us ample time to prepare our plastic, and then there are these ‘Atlantic Blue’ . The retro snuck of Japan’s mita sneakers without warning in August, and they've just done it again on !
The licks of lime and oceanic blue give the sneaker an overtly 90s feel – the kind of vibe that AM97 fanatics will have been eagerly awaiting until a few hours ago when their Google Alerts and WeChat groups started pinging with notifications that their pride and joy was back in stock.
It sucks that the sneaker has already sold out, but with so little ramp up (and such a niche colourway) it’s warming to assume that the one’s who copped were those who wanted it the most.
