Three More ASICS UB3-S GEL Nimbus 9s Have Surfaced

Update March 30, 2022: Three more pairs of the Kiko-curated ASICS UB3-S GEL Nimbus 9 have surfaced! However only the 'Rum Raisin' has hit shelves. Peep the official imagery above and stay locked for further release information.
Bulgarian designer and his team have been employed to work in-house at , consulting on colour palettes and silhouettes. Technically not co-branded collaborations, you’ll still be able to tell the team have worked their magic, due to a few hidden details. Including tongue pull tab and certain letters and numbers placed before the name of the silhouette. Fresh off the back of an uber-successful and high-top HS3-S – a brand new UB3-S GEL Nimbus 9 has entered the chat.
Flying under the radar, a Rum Raisin/Green Sheen colourway using the slightly obscure GEL Nimbus 9 silhouette has subtly appeared at a few retailers. Usually, ASICS have a full roll-out for Kiko-aligned releases and we suspect that it’s coming over the next few weeks.
Nevertheless, the silhouette opts for the usual GEL Nimbus 9 shape, however has done away with the early 2000s runner aesthetic and chosen a modernised tonal colourway that favours the tooling. It also looks like the toe panel has also been slightly elevated, choosing a shiny patent leather, another Kiko team signature. The rest of the upper chooses mesh and other synthetic materials. Down below, the bulbous aggressive sole unit has been dipped in a two-tone makeup with visible GEL unit.
