ASICS Sizzle the GEL-Lyte III ‘Kobe Beef’ for 30th Anniversary

The is being done justice by for the silhouette’s 30th birthday in 2020. It’s getting a premium leather remake, as is common for special releases. This version is called ‘Kobe Beef’, in a nod to the region’s prized commodity, as well as the home to ASICS HQ.

The all-leather construction recalls the 25th anniversary that similarly used veg-tanned leather, but this is a different entity. Embroidered Tiger Stripes with run-off details at the ends, ice soles, and katakana symbols on the heel counter make this GL3 its own shoe.

Releasing on March 1 at select ASICS retailers like 43einhalb.
