The ASICS GT-2160 NS ‘Earthenware’ Pack Lands this Month

Most of us are taking our time easing into 2024, but ASICS are powering on, full steam ahead with it. Already this year we’ve been given a glimpse at colabs with HAL STUDIOS, HIDDEN.NY and Earls Collection, and we still have pairs from Kiko Kostadinov’s NOVALIS line to look forward to too. But even alongside these special projects, ASICS’ in-line releases are just as good – just check out this ‘Earthenware’ Pack, which sees a fresh take on the GT-2160.

For this pack, the typically-meshy runner has received a new makeover, instead appearing with a no-sew (NS) construction. This gives it a more futuristic, techware-inspired look that’s more akin to Kostadinov’s work. Building on its inspiration, the pack encompasses three almost-metallic hues: ‘Slate Grey’, ‘Rusty Brown’ and ‘Black’, which all nod to naturally occurring materials. These all hit in a tonal fashion, and black accents and midsoles give the pairs more of a Gorpcore vibe.
