In July of 2015, 360 degrees of GEL was introduced, marking a game-changing new era in performance tech. The OG GEL-QUANTUM 360 boasted a rambunctious build, and it wasn’t long before the model was adopted by the streets.
While the QUANTUM 360 line remains a performance-turned-lifestyle model in some parts of the world, in places such as Australia, the series boasts a cult-like fanbase. The OG silhouette is prized for its neck-cranking use of colourways and its pristine, pointed shape. Sought-after iterations like the ‘Skittles’, ‘Flash Coral’ and ‘NYC Marathon' historically command high resale prices and plenty of respect on inner-city streets.
In 2025 the ASICS GEL-QUANTUM series has seen plenty of change – especially via the arrival of the new and more rounded eighth variation – but the love still remains for the OG. In celebration of the model's 10th anniversary this year, ASICS have resurrected the 360 1 from the archives, blessing the world with two colourways which recall those groundbreaking first editions of 2015.
Coming with a period-correct shape, the uppers are constructed using jacquard mesh with a supportive, solid heel counter. Down below, the 360 degrees of GEL remain, but they're given extra juice with FF BLAST PLUS cushioning to boost comfort.
