The ASICS GEL-Lyte III ‘Python Pack’ Arrives at atmos USA
The US is getting a taste of the Far East sneaker game via retailer , who have been ramping up their stateside presence for a few years now. Adding to their storied list of special releases is the ‘Python Pack’, which first released in Asia and now sees a limited drop via atmos’ USA doors.
The tonal two-pack sees near all-black and all-white colourways rendered in an updated combination of leather and suede, scaling up the GL3’s quality appropriately for python skin to slide onto the Tiger Stripes on the upper. The white pair is the more subtle of the duo, opting for neutral grey accents on the stripes and heel rubber mesh; those looking for more drama will gravitate towards the black pair’s venomous green bites on the toe bumper and heel mesh. Both pairs allude to these elements further on the translucent green rubber heel pad, which likely also glows like a pair of snake eyes. Of course, all of this is sat atop the GL3’s comfortable GEL sole.
