A$AP Rocky Uncaged: FLACKO Lets Loose the Mostro Gabbia Light

A$AP Rocky’s partnership with PUMA continues to deepen, as the creative director role he assumed in late 2023 is now paying dividends for the Big Cat. After debuting his first PUMA sneaker drop – the Inhale OG in May last year – Rocky has continued to reshape archival runners into street‑driven statements.
His latest reveal, the Inhale OG ‘Reflective’, keeps the Inhale’s signature aerodynamic curves, but adds a sleeker, more polished aesthetic. Built on a breathable mesh base, the upper features sculpted synthetic overlays that ripple along the sidewalls like exhaled air.
What really sets this edition apart is its reflective treatment: flame-shaped accents and the PUMA Formstrip shimmer under streetlights, adding high‑visibility appeal. The 'Team Silver/Flat Medium Gray' colourway keeps things stealthy, while custom FLACKO branding on the tongue tag and footbed personalise the release. Interestingly, there’s no distressed visuals in this edition – a previous hallmark of recent Rocky iterations. Instead the model opts for a cleaner, more technical finish, embracing night-readiness over garage grit.
Alongside the new Inhale, Rocky and PUMA are also releasing a fresh iteration of the Mostro. This version sports a black croc skin-inspired leather upper with a textured white Formstrip on the lateral side, all set atop the Mostro’s iconic spiky outsole. Unlike the Disccord model released earlier this year, this Mostro sticks to the classic formula, updated with a bold material twist.
Both the Inhale OG ‘Reflective’ and the Mostro are slated to drop on May 30 via PUMA and select retailers. The Inhale carries a $140 price tag, while the Mostro comes in slightly lower at $130.
