A$AP Nast and Reebok Are Goin' Off-Road with Their Zig Kinetica II Colab

A$AP Nast and Reebok's Zig Kinetica II colab was originally supposed to release in October, but due to global shipping delays (the bane of the sneaker world in 2021, save for bots) the drop occurred sporadically and was delayed at many retailers. Now, Nast's latest is set to hit shelves at the tail end of this month and we've been given our best look yet at its high-contrast style.

Nast himself stars in the handful of images shared by German sneaker boutique Asphalt Gold, and his sartorial flair is on full display. His shoes combine a red textile base with black suede overlays, both of which are embellished with a healthy portion of golden detailing. More gold is present on the toggle-equipped laces, and there's even a dash of black sherpa fleece on the tongue.

Though Nast has given the Zig Kinetica Edge II a high-street makeover, it's still a hiking shoe at heart. This is indicated by the aggressive off road traction pattern used on the Vibram rubber outsole as well as the solid rubber toe bumper and segmented EVA midsole, embellished with yellow flecks. It's Nast's second colab with Reebok after a Classic Leather Legacy released earlier in the year. Before coming to the brand, Nast was a Converse partner and collaborated on styles like the Jack Purcell Mid and One Star.

Pending any further delays, you can look for the A$AP Nast x Reebok Zig Kinetica Edge II to release at retailers like Asphalt Gold on November 27.
